Folding Stool
Eñe stool is the first of a series of experiments investigating the use of multiwall polycarbonate for furniture manufacturing.
Multiwall polycarbonate has very interesting characteristics: it is very light, strong and translucent, its cell structure grants a high strength in one direction and flexibility in the other.
Its characteristic shape allows to be fold and grants itself a strong personality. It is manufacturing from a single polycarbonate sheet and only ten cuts
One only steel brace prevents openning. Using two magnets, the stool remains folded in a compact, light and thin object which can be carried as a small briefcase.
The stool unfold itself as a spring and ready to use instantly.
